NORWICH :  When it was over, Maggie Swenson and Christine Durkee broke away from their teammates and danced a little jig in the middle of the floor at Norwich Free Academy.

The East Lyme girls volleyball team added another title to its growing collection, winning the Eastern Connecticut Conference championship with a 3-1 victory over Fitch on Thursday night. It's the Vikings' first title since 2007.

Now, they're hoping there's another jig to dance: After the state championship match.
